AGC, in collaboration with Nozawa, has developed a method for installing solar panels on exterior walls.

AGC, in collaboration with wall material manufacturer Nozawa, has developed a method for installing solar panels called "Asrock Rail Fastener Solar Panel Installation Method" (provisional name), which enables power generation through building walls (patent pending). As the lack of space for installing solar panels has become a challenge, promoting this installation method will contribute to improving the energy self-sufficiency rate of buildings. Moving forward, we aim to conduct trial sales towards practical application in buildings such as offices, with the goal of starting sales by the end of 2023.

Development of repair materials and methods for deteriorated concrete using inorganic materials.

**Surface Impregnation Material** Surface impregnation materials are penetrating protective agents used to impart specific properties to the surface of concrete, such as preventing the intrusion of deterioration factors. They aim to modify the surface layer. Although surface impregnation materials are relatively inexpensive and easy to apply, there is a challenge in that there is no established construction method, and good modification effects are not consistently achieved on-site. This repair material successfully increases hardness by generating aluminosilicate minerals through the crosslinking of silica with aluminum and applying the developed "Sanken Method." **Sanken Method** Deteriorated concrete has enlarged capillary voids and tiny voids within the hydration product framework, making the surface brittle and more susceptible to water intrusion. The modification concept of the Sanken Method is to restore hardness by reinforcing the skeletal structure with impregnated silica and to enhance waterproofing by sealing capillary voids with silicates, thereby achieving effective results.

Development of inspection and repair methods for steel deck slabs.

Patent obtained! Repair of the underside of steel deck plates using Thread Rolling Screws (TRS).

The welded joints of the steel deck slab, which directly bear the load of the vehicle, may suffer damage due to fatigue and other factors. Traditionally, repairs for through cracks in the weld bead joining the deck plate and U-rib have involved "re-welding" or "high-strength bolt plates," but these methods have presented challenges such as concerns about cracks and the need for traffic regulation.
